Postgraduate education

Anyone who has fulfilled all the requirements (excluding the specialist exam) in accordance with the (old) 2013 postgraduate education program by 31 December 2026 may request that the title be awarded in accordance with the old provisions of 1 January 2013 (last revised on 24 May 2019):

For all other candidates, the postgraduate education program in hematology that came into force on 1 January 2023 applies (last revised on 26 September 2024):

According to the postgraduate training program in hematology 2023, at least 6 months of postgraduate training in hemostasis (clinical and laboratory) must be completed. This postgraduate training can be completed in one hemostasis department/laboratory or spread over the entire postgraduate training period.

The Commission for Postgraduate and Continuous Education (KWFB/CFCP) is responsible for postgraduate education at the SSH.
