Exam registration

Admission requirements

  • Only those who hold a Swiss or recognised foreign medical degree are admitted to the oral specialist exam
  • It is recommended that the specialist exam be taken at the earliest in the last year of the regulatory postgraduate education
  • Admission to the oral exam requires passing the EHA written exam and proof that at least 70% of the requirements listed in the e-logbook have been met

The following documents must be enclosed with the registration:

  • Completed e-logbook
  • Swiss medical degree or foreign medical degree recognised by MEBEKO
  • Confirmation from the EHA that the written exam has been passed. If this confirmation is not available at the time of registration, it must be submitted as soon as possible

Postgraduate education*

The specialist postgraduate education covers the following areas: hematology, oncology, pediatric hematology / oncology, infectiology, intensive care, transfusion medicine, hematological research (see postgraduate education program in hematology, Art. 2.1.1 f (Deutsch)) / (see postgraduate education program in hematology, Art. 2.1.1 f (Français))

Absences

I was absent for more than eight weeks during a year of postgraduate education through no fault of my own (illness, pregnancy, military service; see Regulations on Further Education, Art. 31
